From my "Things you have to do at least once" list...

We actually had a little breathing room tonight after a day of presenting 2 major assignments. So I rewarded myself by doing something I've been meaning to do for awhile now, and just hadn't had the time: pose and draw a skeleton. I think I might have to give this another try sometime when I can, and MEASURE properly so I don't run out of paper for the legs! Only took about 2 hours, I think I can swing it at some point. (Fellow BMCers will sense the sarcasm here...)

Long Poses

These life studies were done in 90 minutes each. The first was mostly a hard charcoal, the second mostly 2B pencil.

My first project exploring Maya. Can't wait to learn more about making surface textures!

Long Pose - Graphite

I returned to TSA today for a life drawing session and was pleased to find it would be a long pose. I think Thomas Hendry's anatomy class was just what I needed, I will strongly recommend it to any fellow BMCer's, past present or future.

Consolation figures

Unfortunately, my digital camera is currently non-functional, so I will be unable to post the studies I did for the TSA week-intensive course. For the moment, that is. In the meantime, here are two sketches I threw into photoshop and played around with a little. Enjoy.
