Needing another life drawing fix, I went to TSA last night and tried to concentrate on using more of a chiaroscuro approach, fleshing out shadow shapes and deemphasizing line. I can see that practicing this strategy will be greatly beneficial to developing my skills (I am still a huge fan of the varied line-weight method, which I am also continuing to work on).
