
The previous watercolor was done in the lower portion of the state of Michigan, while this one was painted on the shore of a separate lake many miles away in the Upper Peninsula. This was painted over the course of a sunset, so the light was playing all kinds of fun games with me. Unfortunately you can't hear my niece in the background playing with a family of ducks, but I think a little bit of that jovial energy seeped its way into my color palette.
((Haha! Maybe I should rename my blog Color
