Went car camping with some friends this weekend at Rondeau Provincial Park in Ontario.

Online portrait course, complete!
Wrapped up Vitruvian Fine Art Studio's online portrait course, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The commentary is saturated with tasty morsels of wisdom and insight into a logical approach to portrait drawing. Having the critique extension made a big difference in the outcome.
I can't wait to go through the videos again on a new piece. Highly recommended.

Cloth studies

Skull base with 123Dcatch
Here is my first try using Autodesk's 123Dcatch app, which builds a 3D mesh out of a series of photos. Pretty amazing, there is huge potential here, and I can't wait to start using this app for work!

Dorysthenes Walkeri
I attended an Insect Drawing Workshop at a place called Nook today, taught by Kathryn Chorney, a professor at Sheridan. It was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
I went for a beetle, Dorysthenes Walkeri.
